The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has issued an instruction to the Department of Agriculture and Forestry and all business sectors around the country to address and prevent the import of vegetables from abroad and re-export under the name of Lao PDR, especially, re-export to EU countries in order to ensure the wellbeing of consumers and protect the reputation of vegetable products from Lao PDR the export of which is rapidly growing in international markets.
Minister of Health Bounkong Syhavong and his delegation paid a working visit to Hanoi on June 26 and also met the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Vu Duc Dam. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam suggested that Vietnam and Laos step up medical cooperation with more diverse and effective activities in the near future to match with the special solidarity between the two countries
