Ha Thi Nga, the chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union, led a delegation that visited Pany Yathotou, the vice president of Laos, in Vientiane on April 4, 2023. An important visit to Khammouane, Laos, by a Vietnamese delegation from Ha Tinh province began on the morning of March 28, 2023, establishing a new high point in the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Delegations from Laos's Tax Department, headed by Mr. Bounpaseuth Sikounlabut, the director of the department under Laos's Ministry of Finance, recently paid a visit to Vietnam's General Department of Taxation as part of a major initiative to strengthen financial and tax cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Mr. Mai Xuan Thanh, the acting Director General of the General Department of Taxation, highlighted the deepening and effectiveness of the bilateral tax cooperation.
