South East Asian Traditions Celebrated at Kon Tum Cultural Exchange Festival
Tuesday, April 9, 2023 - In a lively celebration of regional unity and cultural legacy, the Cultural Exchange Festival with the theme "Colors of Indochina" took place this morning to commemorate the traditional New Year celebrations of Bunpimay in Laos and Chol Chnam Thmay in Cambodia. The Kon Tum campus of the University of Da Nang, in collaboration with the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs in Kon Tum Provincial, organized the event, which drew participants from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

Vietnam-Laos Women's Union Enhances Bilateral Cooperation
Ha Thi Nga, the chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union, led a delegation that visited Pany Yathotou, the vice president of Laos, in Vientiane on April 4, 2023. This visit was a major step toward deepening the special relationship between the two countries. The Vietnam-Lao Trade Rankings Have Vietnam Firmly In Third Place.
With a total of about 65 million USD in exports and around 21 million USD in imports, Vietnam has surpassed all but two countries as Laos's third-largest trading partner. The importance of this trade relationship highlights the strategic economic position of Vietnam in the region.
