Hanoi - Vientiane Tourism and Trade Promotion Cooperation 2024
On March 12, 2024, the "Hanoi - Vientiane Tourism and Trade Promotion Cooperation 2024" and the "Hanoi Tourism and Trade Promotion Space" will be held in Vientiane, Laos. This event aims to promote and enhance tourism and trade cooperation between Hanoi and Vientiane, organized by the Hanoi Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center under the Hanoi City People's Committee.
The “Hanoi - Vientiane Tourism and Trade Promotion Cooperation 2024” and the “Hanoi Tourism and Trade Promotion Space” are key initiatives to implement and effectively carry out the cooperation program between the two capitals. They aim to boost promotional activities, foster cooperation, and develop economic ties, particularly in the areas of tourism, trade, vocational training, and craft guidance between Hanoi and Vientiane, in support of Laos' National Tourism Year.
The conference will feature the signing of memoranda of understanding for tourism promotion and marketing, vocational training, and craft guidance. It will also include trade activities, business networking between Hanoi and Vientiane, and site visits to potential tourism points for developing tourism products and linking tours and routes between the two locations.
Alongside the Conference, the "Hanoi Tourism and Trade Promotion Space" will showcase images and models of tourist destinations and craft villages. This exhibition will feature tourism products and craft items related to tourism from both Hanoi and Vientiane, aiming to introduce and promote them widely to delegates and visitors. In this space, Hanoi will present notable products such as Bat Trang ceramics, bronze sculptures, embossed brass, wooden and bamboo products, lacquerware, and jewelry.
The "Hanoi - Vientiane Tourism and Trade Promotion Cooperation 2024" and the "Hanoi Tourism and Trade Promotion Space" are anticipated to significantly enhance and strengthen promotional activities, cooperation, and development between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between the capitals Hanoi and Vientiane in particular.
The "Hanoi - Vientiane Tourism and Trade Promotion Cooperation 2024" is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM on March 12, 2024, at the Muong Thanh Hotel in Vientiane, Laos.
