From July 11–12, 2024, President To Lam led a high-level Vietnamese delegation on an official state visit to Laos at the invitation of Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith. Lao State Inspection Delegation Visits PV GAS
As part of the cooperation program between the Central Inspection Commission of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the State Inspection of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) with the Central Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Government Inspectorate, a high-ranking delegation from the Central Inspection Commission of the LPDR Party and the Lao State Inspection visited Vietnam from June 2-8, 2024. The delegation, consisting of 10 officials, was led by Khamphan Phommathat, a Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Commission, and Chief State Inspector of Laos.
