Workshop "Introduction and connection of OCOP products and Ben Tre specialties in Ho Chi Minh City"
On September 24, 2020, the Workshop "Introduction and connection of OCOP products and Ben Tre specialties in Ho Chi Minh City" took place at the Phu Tho Sports Gymnasium, No. 1 - Lu Gia - Ward 15 - District 11 - Ho Chi Minh City. The workshop was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ben Tre province in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, under the chairmanship of the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Ben Tre province.
More than 300 delegates attended the seminar including representatives from the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Investment Promotion Center (IPTC) ), Departments of Industry and Trade of Southern provinces and cities, Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City, industry associations, domestic and foreign businessmen's clubs, businesses and distributors in the region. The event took place to enhance activities of introducing, advertising, promoting trade, promoting consumption of OCOP products and specialties of Ben Tre province, promoting production, developing craft villages and regional specialties, OCOP products, products with local advantages and potentials, supporting enterprises to build production-distribution chains, connecting agricultural products, especially OCOP products and specialties. Ben Tre province enters the distribution system of the Ho Chi Minh City market and the whole country, looking for opportunities to export agricultural products, expanding domestic and foreign markets. The seminar will also inform the results signing a memorandum of understanding for cooperation, business association, consumption connection of OCOP products, regional specialties of Ben Tre province with distribution enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City
