Visa appoints new Country Manager for Vietnam & Laos
Visa, the world's leader in digital payments, has recently announced the appointment of Dang Tuyet Dung to the role of Vietnam and Laos country manager.
Ms. Dang Tuyet Dung will replaces former country manager Sean Preston. Mr. Sean will move to London to take on the new role of Visa in the European market.
Ms. Dung has over 20 years of experience in corporate banking and retail banking to the role. During her working years, she had held senior executive positions in both multinational and large Vietnamese banks.
Before joining Visa, she had been Deputy CEO and CEO of the Retail Banking Business of Maritime Bank since December 2014. In this role she was responsible for managing both head office business lines and the bank’s network of 196 retail branches and 1,400 staff. She also served on the bank’s executive committee.
Before working at Maritime Bank, Ms. Dung spent more than five years at Techcombank, firstly as the Head of Retail Banking and then Head of Wholesale Banking. She also had a 15-year experience at Citibank in Vietnam, serving in a variety of roles.
