Both sides have also focused on political work and organization. Each side created opportunities for its members to learn and implement instructions and resolutions of the Party and State, thus contributing to building firm political bases.
In the coming time, war veterans of the two countries are expected to be a core force in mobilizing officials, party members, and local people to consolidate the traditional friendship and special solidarity; build a strong political system at grassroots and provincial levels; and actively participate in building and protecting the Party, the State, people, and the socialist regime.
At the event, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on seeking approaches to build a strong association, and continue expanding relations between the war veteran associations of the two countries.
