Vietnam, Laos share experience in youth movements
Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Vietnamese Military Youth Board and Lieutenant Colonel Thanin Bunnau, Head of the Board on Military Training, Organization, and Youth Office of the Lao People’s Army co-chaired the meeting in the presence of Major Viegsaksutthisan, Deputy Defense Attaché of Laos to Vietnam.
In an open atmosphere, the participants discussed different contents related to youth union work and youth movements.
Delegates raised questions about building youth union organizations and implementing youth movements in the two militaries. They shared experience in building grassroots level youth union organizations and drawn lessons.
They also pointed out shortcomings and discussed ways to fix them as well.
The meeting was part of activities in the framework of the ongoing nearly month long training course.
