During the Meeting, Comrade Luong Quoc Doan shared insights into the formation and development, as well as the position, role, functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Farmers' Union with the Central Lao Front for National Construction.

Emphasizing that the Vietnam Farmers' Union holds a special affinity for Laos, Comrade Luong Quoc Doan noted that this visit is of significant importance for studying, exchanging information, and sharing experiences regarding grassroots mobilization. It also aims to negotiate and establish mechanisms for cooperation between the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Lao Front for National Construction in the future.

Furthermore, this visit provides an opportunity for both sides to discuss the establishment of a Lao Farmers' Union. As a political-social organization of the peasantry under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam Farmers' Union is honored and pleased to contribute to preserving and nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Chairman of the Central Lao Front for National Construction, Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune, affirmed that the delegation's visit will provide Laos with additional opportunities to exchange and learn from experiences in relevant fields. He also urged both sides to continue in-depth discussions on Vietnam's experience in establishing the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

On the same day, at the headquarters of the Central Lao Front for National Construction, a meeting took place between the delegation of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union, led by Comrade Luong Quoc Doan, and the delegation of the Central Lao Front for National Construction, led by Comrade Khamlay Sipaseuth, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to continue promoting the work of educating and informing farmers in both countries about the strategic importance and significance of the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations. They pledged to jointly protect and cultivate the long-standing and positive relationship between Vietnam and Laos, ensuring its continued sustainable development.

The two parties agreed to further enhance their cooperative and friendly relations and to implement practical, flexible, and effective activities. This will be achieved through delegation exchanges, experience sharing, and mutual support in the work of farmers' organizations, as well as in the broader context of agricultural, rural, and farmer improvement.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Central Lao Front for National Construction for the period 2025-2030.
