The Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs of the Lao National Assembly, Keochaleun Xiayingyang, has praised the increased degree of cooperation that exists between the two chambers of the Lao National Assembly. Young legislators from Vietnam and Laos will continue to keep in close coordination with one another and provide mutual support during their participation in regional and international inter-parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie.
