Thua Thien Hue Province Expands Cooperation with Laos in Multiple Fields
Mrs. Khamphao Ernthavanh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Vietnam, expressed her delight on behalf of the delegation for being in Hue to participate in the International Arts Week at the Hue Festival 2024. She shared her admiration for the grand and distinctly Hue-themed opening ceremony. She also highlighted Laos's socio-economic achievements in recent years and reaffirmed that the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, particularly with the border provinces neighboring Thua Thien Hue, is a valuable asset that Laos will always cherish and enhance.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, welcomed the ambassador and local leaders to this major cultural event organized by the province. He expressed hope that the delegates would have a memorable experience in Hue during their stay. Regarding the special Vietnam-Laos friendship, the Chairman emphasized that the province is committed to strengthening ties with neighboring localities in all areas, contributing to the special bond fostered by the leaders of both Parties and States.
