The Vietnam-Laos Friendship Youth Meeting in 2023 will be a significant international youth exchange event between the two countries.

The Central Youth Union organized a training session on October 8 for the Vietnamese youth delegation that will participate in the 2023 Vietnam-Laos Youth Friendship Meeting program in Laos from October 9 to 14. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organized this activity in collaboration with the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union Central Committee.

Important youth exchange programs

The program, according to the organizers, is a practical activity as well as an important international youth exchange activity, providing an opportunity for young people from the two countries to review special traditions.

During the program, a high-ranking delegation from the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will pay a courtesy visit to the leader, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union. Youth cooperation between the two countries is growing all the time.

The presenter discussed the topic "Basic information about the Lao People's Democratic Republic; cooperative relations between the two parties and two states of Vietnam - Laos" with the delegates at the training session; the rapporteur also discussed the topic "Introduction to the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union, the friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries' youth unions...".

As a result, over the last five years, from 2016 to 2021, under the leadership and direction of the two parties and two states, the two countries' ministries, departments, branches, and localities have proactively and actively coordinated and effectively implemented agreements, treaties, plans, and cooperation programs between the two sides, achieving practical results in all fields.

Along with the continued development of the two countries' special traditional friendships between their parties, governments, and people, the comprehensive friendship and cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Revolutionary People's Youth Union Laos has been strengthened and expanded.
