SHB Laos has an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Vietnam and Laos

On 10 January 2019, Governor of the Central Bank of the Laos Sonexay Sitphaxay and the Laos’ senior delegation had a working visit at Saigon - Hanoi Bank (SHB). Welcoming the delegation were top leaders of SHB:  Mr. Do Quang Hien - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Van Le - Member of the Board of Directors - General Director.

SHB Laos is one of the two 100% owned subsidiaries of SHB in Indochina market. SHB Laos sets up 1 headquarters in Vientiane and 2 branches in Champasack and Savannakhet.

On December 31, 2018, it was estimated that SHB Laos’ charter capital reached more than 400 billion LAK, total assets were estimated at nearly 1,600 billion LAK. Total capital mobilization was estimated at 970 billion LAK. Profit before tax for the whole year was estimated at nearly 23 billion LAK.

At the meeting, Governor of the Central Bank of Laos Sonexay Sitphaxay has recognized and appreciated the outstanding achievements that SHB Laos in particular and SHB in general have achieved in recent years.
