In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam on the evening of January 11, it was stated that the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, along with his wife, Le Thi Bich Tran, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will be attending the 54th Annual Conference of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Additionally, the statement stated that the Vietnamese delegation will be making official visits to Hungary and Romania.

The trip that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife will conduct for professional purposes will take place between the dates of January 16 and January 23, 2024.

It was at the invitation of Klaus Schwab, the founder and President of the World Economic Forum, as well as the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife went on a business trip.

In the spirit of "open and cooperative," the 54th World Economic Forum Davos Annual Conference will bring together a large number of leaders from state and government departments, significant international organizations, multinational corporations, and academic institutions.

It is anticipated that over 2,500 individuals representing more than one hundred nations, important international organizations, and approximately one thousand multinational corporations, entrepreneurs, and researchers will participate in the agenda.

The World Economic Forum 2024 Conference will also continue to promote its role as a channel to promote public-private cooperation, enhance dialogue, and raise awareness of global issues and challenges. Additionally, the conference will aim to maintain its pioneering position in engaging the top leaders of the world to discuss major issues and potential solutions, as well as engage in collaborative activities to shape global economic agendas and of regions around the world.
