Photo Exhibition Of World Heritages Of Vietnam And Laos
On June 26, 2023, the photo exhibition "World Heritages of Vietnam and Laos" was held in coordination between the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions and the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos.

This is the first photo exhibition held in Laos that fully brings together the World Cultural and Natural Heritages of Vietnam and the World Cultural Heritages of Laos. The exhibition has contributed to expanding cultural and artistic exchange and cooperation activities between the two countries.
At the exhibition, 180 photos were introduced to the audience. Vietnam's 26 heritages including world natural heritages such as: Ha Long Bay, Trang An scenic complex, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park... and world cultural heritage such as: Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Complex, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary... were recorded through 160 photos in the exhibition. The remaining photos introduce 4 Lao heritage sites: Wat Phou Heritage Area, Luang Prabang Ancient Capital, Xiengkhouang Plain of Jars and Lao Khen.
The photos displayed at the exhibition were taken by many Vietnamese and Lao photographers. The exhibition is an opportunity for the public to admire the majestic and magnificent beauty of natural wonders through realistic and vivid images. Each photo of architectural works and cultural heritage of the two countries contains a story of history, culture, and traditional customs that it wants to convey to viewers. It can be said that the exhibition has brought to the public an understanding of the countries, people, history, culture, and national identity of Vietnam and Laos.

From now until the end of July 2023, the exhibition will be open to visitors. At the end of the exhibition, the photos will be displayed in localities in Laos. The exhibition "World Heritage Sites of Vietnam and Laos" not only opens up opportunities for cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries but also contributes to cultivating the close friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
