Lao Home and Living Fair 2017 to Be Held Next Month

(KPL) The 2nd Lao Home and Living Fair 2017 will be held next month to promote the buying and selling of Lao products.
The fair will be held at the ITECC Mall (old building) in Vientiane Capital on July 8-16, the Vice President of the Lao Furniture Association, Kongmala Phommalay said at a press conference held in Vientiane Capital last Friday.
Mr Kongmala said that this is the second year of the Lao Home and Living Fair, which is held three times a year with the aim to exchange experiences related to hard skills, marketing strategies and challenges.
“The Home and Living Fair is also strengthening the Lao Furniture Association and promoting the creativity of Lao furniture to expand and compete with international rivals,”said Mr Khamphay. “The fair is a good opportunity for furniture producers to meet and share entrepreneurial experiences and information, and attract foreign investors.”
The 2nd Lao Living Fair willdisplay a variety of well-known Lao products including furniture made in Laos and imported products from neighbouring countries.
The event will display furniture made from wood, rattan, bamboo, and carved wood, as well as household utensils.
Additionally, the trade fair will also show how products are made, and a lucky draw will be held for visitors at the event.
