As part of this program, a working group was assigned various tasks to support the local community in Salavane province.

One of the key tasks undertaken by the working group was to provide free medical examinations and distribute medicine to 2,000 people in need. This initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local population and improve their well-being. Additionally, the working group also distributed gifts, including rice and necessities, to 200 households, with each household receiving 500,000 VND worth of support.

The program also focused on supporting education and children in difficult circumstances. The working group distributed gifts to 40 students and children, providing them with essential school supplies such as school bags, pens, and notebooks. This gesture aimed to alleviate the challenges faced by these children and promote access to education.

Furthermore, the Salavane Provincial Youth Union received a gift of a projector, which would contribute to enhancing their activities and communication efforts. This donation emphasized the commitment of the Da Nang Youth Union to support and strengthen the youth organizations in Laos.

In addition to the material support provided, the program also included cultural exchange activities and opportunities for learning about arts and sports in Laos. These activities aimed to foster mutual understanding, appreciation, and respect between the youth of Da Nang city and the people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The total value of this program exceeded 300 million VND, reflecting the significant investment made by the Da Nang Youth Union to support the Lao people and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Le Cong Hung, the Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youth Union and the Head of the Delegation, highlighted the longstanding friendship between Vietnam and Laos and the commitment to nurturing and developing this relationship. The youth of Da Nang city, through their volunteer activities, aimed to contribute to this relationship by providing resources and support to the Lao people.

The program involved the participation of 37 volunteers, including officials, union members, and youth, as well as doctors and nurses from units under the Youth Union.
