President Vo Van Thuong welcomed Comrade Viengthong Siphandon, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Laos and Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, at a meeting on the afternoon of August 22, 2023, while she was in Vietnam on a business trip.

In attendance at the event was Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, a member of the Politburo, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.
