Vietnam - Laos strengthen cooperation in the field of petroleum
Under the coordination of the Corporation, PVOIL Nghi Son, PVOIL Thanh Hoa and PVOIL Trans safely transported the first 120,000 liters of DO oil from the PVOIL Nghi Son warehouse (Thanh Hoa, Vietnam) to the PVOIL Laos warehouse (Xieng Khouang, Laos) through Nam Can border gate.
On July 21, 2021, PVOIL Laos imported the first shipment from Vietnam to Laos. This is a shipment by the parent company - Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) to export petroleum products of Nghi Son Refinery to PVOIL Laos for distribution in Laos market. Under the coordination of the Corporation, PVOIL Nghi Son, PVOIL Thanh Hoa and PVOIL Trans safely transported the first 120,000 liters of DO oil from the PVOIL Nghi Son warehouse (Thanh Hoa, Vietnam) to the PVOIL Laos warehouse (Xieng Khouang, Vietnam). Laos) through Nam Can border gate.
With the successful implementation of this first shipment, PVOIL Laos will diversify its supply, taking full advantage of the geographical distance along the Vietnam-Laos border; especially, contributing to increasing import-export trade turnover between the two countries. Through the distribution system, PVOIL Laos will introduce to Lao customers petroleum products produced and processed in Vietnam.
