Laos should not neglect Covid prevention measures

27th October 2022 post by MOIT Vietnam

Even though just a few new cases of COVID-19 are being reported each day, the Ministry of Health in Laos has recommended the general population to continue adhering to the preventative and control measures. This is because the disease is still highly contagious. This is because COVID-19, in its natural state, is a virus that, when exposed to certain conditions, may quickly spread to other people.

The fact that the number of recorded cases has dropped does not suggest that the virus has been eliminated, as stated by Phonepaseuth Ounaphom, who serves as the director general of the Department of Hygiene and Health Promotion under the Ministry of Hygiene and Health Promotion in Thailand. The government department called the Department of Hygiene and Health Promotion is in charge of promoting healthy living and good hygiene.  It is supervised by the Ministry of Hygiene and Health Promotion, and the organization itself also bears the ministry's name. Follow the link down below to read the statement that was issued earlier today by the Ministry of Hygiene and the Promotion of Health. The remark was made as a reaction to the events that were taking place within the scenario. Phonepaseuth Ounaphom has proposed the idea that all of the preventive and control activities associated with COVID-19 need to be carried out in accordance with the plans that have already been formulated. Phonepaseuth Ounaphom is the person who initially brought up this idea. That this is something that should be brought to everyone's attention has already been done.

Infections are also on the decline as a result of an increase in the number of persons who have immunity to the virus as a result of immunizations. This rise may be attributed to the fact that more people are being vaccinated. Because of this, the number of individuals whose immune systems are strong enough to withstand the virus has increased. This rise could be able to be explained by the fact that a growing number of people are becoming vaccinated. This is a direct effect of the decrease in the number of individuals who are becoming sick as a direct result of the virus. This rise may have something to do with the fact that more people are being vaccinated against the illness today than in the past. In the past, there were fewer people getting vaccinated. Because of this, a greater proportion of the population now has immune systems that are strong enough to allow them to endure the effects that the virus has on them. This is an immediate consequence of the predicament.

As of the third of October, there have been a total of 215,880 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laos, and 665 persons have died as a direct result of having the virus. In addition, there have been a total of 215,880 cases of COVID-19 that have been verified in Laos. As of right now, the percentages of persons who have received either the first or the second dosage of the COVID-19 vaccination have reached 80.9% and 71.1%, respectively. These figures are current as of right now. This suggests that a sizeable population has previously received vaccinations against the COVID-19 virus and is protected against its effects. This would indicate that a large number of people have received both of the doses of the vaccine that are required for immunization against the disease. This illustrates that now there is a bigger number of people being vaccinated than there has ever been at any other point in time throughout the course of the history of the world. This reveals that a considerable number of people have made the decision to take precautionary precautions in order to prevent themselves from catching the COVID-19 virus and avoid being exposed to the virus. Taking these steps has allowed them to avoid being exposed to the virus.
