Cooperation and exchange between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Laos People's Revolutionary Party
On the afternoon of September 17, the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (NDCM) convened an online conference to summarize cooperation, exchange theories, and train and nurture education in order to implement the two parties' foreign policy plans. cadre training between the Vietnamese Communist Party and the Lao People's Democratic Party in the 2016-2021 term, and the direction of cooperation in the 2021-2026 period at the Hanoi (Vietnam) and Vientiane (Laos) bridge points (Laos).
The conference was co-chaired by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Theory Council, and Comrade Khamphanh Pheuyavong, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head Central Propaganda Committee, Chairman of the Lao People's Democratic Party's Central Theoretical Council.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, speaking at the conference, stated that the theoretical exchange seminars' experiences and viewpoints are highly practical, reinforcing the leadership role, guidelines, and proper lines of the two Parties, two States contribute to the renewal of ideological and theoretical consciousness, as well as the clarification of the critical theoretical and practical issues confronting the two countries' innovation processes. During the period 2016-2021, the two Parties effectively collaborated to conduct several programs, training courses, and training courses for Laos' political system's leaders and managers.
Comrade Khamphanh Pheuyavong assessed that the process of organizing and implementing the cooperation program between the two sides in the 2016-2021 period was closely, timely, and fluently; agreed on the direction of cooperation between the two parties in the 2021-2026 period in conjunction with the implementation of the Resolutions of the XIII Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the XI Congress of the Lao People's Democratic Party.
