8th Vientiane Furniture Exhibition Set to Take Place
On March 6, 2024, Mr. Thongduk Sihamaya, President of the Lao Furniture Association, presided over a press conference announcing preparations for the event. The exhibition aims to align with the policies and directives of the Party and Government, stimulate the economy, and promote Lao tourism in 2024. Specifically, it seeks to expand the market for Lao furniture products both domestically and internationally, contributing to an increase in Lao export trade figures, foreign exchange revenue, job creation, and skills enhancement for workers.
The exhibition will feature a range of activities, including displays of furniture made from wood, bamboo, and various recycled materials crafted into furniture, handcrafted products, carvings, jewelry, home decorations, and equipment or tools for furniture production, as well as construction tools and food and pharmaceutical items.
