In line with the 2024 National Trade Promotion Program and in support of the Peace Festival 2024, Quang Tri Province, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will host the Trade and Tourism Fair - ASEAN Bridge - Quang Tri 2024. The fair, along with a B2B trade connection program linking suppliers from the North Central region with export businesses and trade promotion organizations, will take place from June 6 to June 12, 2024.

The fair will open at 6:00 PM on June 6, 2024, at the Quang Tri Province Service and Conference Center (252 Hung Vuong, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province). This event is a significant trade promotion activity for Quang Tri and the North Central region in 2024. The fair aims to direct the development of domestic and export markets, enhance cooperation, boost economic growth, foster cultural exchanges, improve competitiveness, expand market outreach, and promote the brand of export and import products from the province.

Additionally, the fair will provide an opportunity for Vietnamese provinces and cities, as well as those along the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), to showcase their achievements in politics, economics, and socio-culture. It will also highlight their potential, advantages, and incentive policies to attract both domestic and international investors.

The ASEAN Bridge - Quang Tri 2024 Trade and Tourism Fair is held every three years, featuring nearly 1,500 booths from over 700 domestic and international businesses and organizations. The fair will highlight industries with strong potential for export, including agriculture, forestry, seafood, processed foods, handicrafts, wooden products, traditional crafts, textiles, fashion, stationery, household goods, toys, as well as tourism services, real estate, finance, and banking.

A major highlight of the fair will be its food stalls, showcasing distinctive dishes from Quang Tri Province alongside traditional and notable foods from various provinces and cities. Over 100 booths will be occupied by businesses from Laos and Thailand, featuring a diverse range of products, such as wooden furniture, traditional foods (including Xeno grilled chicken, Naphong grilled chicken, Lao sausages, Lao beer, ginseng wine), agricultural products (tea, honey, coffee, dried grapes), handicrafts (vases, brass trays), and jewelry.

Key activities at the fair will include: the opening ceremony, product displays and sales of featured goods, signing of economic contracts and memorandums of understanding for cooperation and investment, business and consumer interactions, promotion of tours to Quang Tri, and nightly music and artistic performances.
