On the morning of May 2, at Paris (France), on the occasion of attending the 2024 Ministerial Council Meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Vietnam's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bui Thanh Son, held meetings with Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saleumxay Kommasith, Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, Gordan Grlic Radman, and Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Simonas Satunas.

Opening Opportunities for Exchange and Cooperation Between Dong Thap Province and Salavan and Champasak Provinces in Laos
A delegation from Dong Thap province recently completed a successful working trip to Laos. Official Signing of the New Vietnam-Laos Trade Agreement
On the morning of April 8, 2024, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien held talks with Lao Minister of Industry and Trade Malaithong Kommasith, during which they signed the new Vietnam-Laos Trade Agreement. They also witnessed the signing of several cooperation memorandums between the two countries. These activities were part of Minister Nguyen Hong Dien's working visit to Vientiane, Laos, from April 6 to April 8.

Vietnam and Laos Sign Agreement to Build Cross-Border Coal Conveyor
Under the witness of Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed among GP Holdings, the Institute of Mechanical Research, and Phonesack Group (PKG). This MoU focuses on cooperation in constructing warehouses and a coal transport conveyor system for the import and export of coal between Laos and Vietnam, via the La Lay international border gate pair (Quang Tri, Vietnam – La Lay, Salavan, Laos).
