Optimistic signal for Vietnam-Laos economic development cooperation
Two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Laos reached more than 671 million USD, an increase of 36.5% over the same period; in which exports reached more than 329 million USD, an increase of 19.1%, imports reached more than 341 million USD, an increase of 58.9%.

Impact of the Covid pandemic on the CLMV region's economy
The 13th Conference of Economic Ministers of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV EMM 13) was recently held online, chaired by Myanmar. CLMV EMM 13 becomes an important support channel, effectively contributing to this process, in the context of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) attempting to control the Covid-19 pandemic and recover their economy.
