The vice president of Laos warmly welcomed Ha Thi Nga and thanked the Lao leadership for their unwavering support and assistance. In order to carry out the agreement that was signed between the two countries in 2023 and 2027, she stressed the importance of Laos' permanent support.

Following recent discussions and joint efforts by the women's unions of the two nations, Chairwoman Nga apprised Vice President Yathotou of the outcomes. Her remarks focused on the cooperative and proactive planning of events at all levels of government, from the national to the regional, that have helped to strengthen the unique bond of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the Vietnamese and Laotian women and men. The two unions will continue to work together, shoulder to shoulder, towards mutual development, as Chairwoman Nga emphasized going forward.

After the meeting between the Vietnamese and Laotian women's unions, Vice President Yathotou spoke highly of the results. In line with the directives of the senior leaders of both nations, she emphasized that the visit of the Vietnamese Women's Union delegation does more than just enhance cooperation and experience sharing; it also deepens the unique solidarity and bond between the two countries.

War was a difficult time for both Laos and Vietnam, but the women of those countries rallied around one another and helped each other through it. Since their full independence in 1975, the women of the two countries have shown their solidarity in regional forums and on the world stage by actively supporting one another and enhancing cooperation in a variety of fields.

In the coming period, Vice President Yathotou proposed that the Women's Unions, in addition to implementing the signed agreements, plan events that bring together women from border provinces to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and collaborate on tourism and economic development. The goal of this program is to raise the level of living for women so that they can help end poverty.

The Vietnamese Women's Union's efforts to expand cooperative programs and provide training for women in Laos at the district and provincial levels were met with enthusiasm by the Lao Vice President, who lauded the varied and effective ways in which Vietnamese women have built their economies. Opportunities for Lao women to gain knowledge and experience in economic development strategies would be created, allowing them to better themselves, their families, and society as a whole.

The Women's Unions of Vietnam and Laos convened earlier that day under the leadership of Chairwoman Ha Thi Nga and Chairwoman Inlavan Keobounphan to deliberate over the execution of the 2023–2027 agreement and to assess the previous cooperation initiatives. In order to improve cooperation and carry out the agreed-upon contents effectively, they also detailed future directions.

During the visit, a ceremony will be held in the afternoon of April 4, 2023, to present medals and honors from the Lao Party and State to members of the Vietnam Women's Union for their exceptional accomplishments.
