Vietnam-Laos friendship singing festival held
First held in 2015, the event is organized every two years with an aim to help students from the two countries better understand each country's culture, remember the special relations of Vietnam and Laos during the resistance wars, as well as to strengthen national construction and development in current context.

The singing festival also offers a chance to introduce Lao culture to people in Thai Nguyen province, thereby affirming the solidarity and the traditional friendship between the two countries in general, and Thai Nguyen province and Lao localities in particular.
This year's event drew the participation of 300 artists from 14 art troupes, with nearly 30 special art performances praising the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
