Vietnamese enterprises participate in gold ore exploration in Laos
Luc Giao Co., Ltd., a private Vietnamese enterprise has just reached an agreement to cooperate with HD Xaysomboun Gold Mine Company Limited and Department of Economy, Ministry of Defense of Laos on gold ore exploration activities in Xaysomboun province, region. Northern Laos.
Accordingly, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on the search, exploration and research of the economic and technical feasibility of the gold and enclosed ore mines in Namsan village, Longcheng district and Anouvong district, Xaysomboun province took place today. 9th of last September at the headquarters of the Military Command of Xaysomboun province between the provincial government representatives, the Director of the Department of Energy and Mines, Mr. Chantham Vongsomchit, leaders of Longcheng and Anouvong districts, Director of Luc Giao Co., Ltd., Mr. Nguyen Manh Son, Director of Economic Department, Ministry of Defense, Major General Khammy Labounthan and representative of HD Xaysomboun Gold Mine Company Limited, Mr. Tran Tuan Tu.
The signed content shows that the working area of the project is 15.64 km2. At the same time, the 13.87 km wide link is currently waiting for the transfer of the previous concession unit, Phoubia Mining, to be deployed later.
Time to search, explore, find out economic-Technical evidence and environmental impact research is 24 months.
In addition, in the process of implementing MOU, the company must commit to fulfill financial obligations including paying a social development fund of 10,000 USD, local development fund of Anuvong and Long cheng districts 7,000 USD / district, $ 6,000 technical training, $ 6,000 management fund and $ 6,000 project supervision cost, environmental monitoring costs will be paid according to each stage of actual acceptance test by local authorities.
