Vietnam and Laos to foster military technical cooperation
Welcoming the Lao delegation, the host affirmed that under the instructions of Vietnam’s and Laos’ Defense Ministries, the cooperation between the general departments of technical affairs of the two countries has over the past time obtained positive and effective achievements in technical personnel training as well as technical equipment assistance.

General Truong said that in the coming time the two sides should cooperate in developing their cooperation plans, especially long-term training programs. He emphasized that the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam will create favorable conditions for technical units of the two countries to effectively foster their cooperation for defense and security of each country as well as development of their militaries.
