PM chairs meeting reviewing projects with Laos, Cambodia

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a meeting in Hanoi on September 23 with ministries, agencies and corporations to review the implementation of the Vietnam – Laos, Vietnam – Cambodia high-level agreements.
The meeting discussed ways to step up the progress of projects with Laos and Cambodia this year.
Despite uncertainties in the region and the world, Vietnam’s trade with Laos and Cambodia in the first eight months of this year went up 15 percent. Ties across investment, energy, transportation, education – training, and culture also progressed.
As scheduled, the Prime Ministers of Laos and Cambodia will pay official visits to Vietnam next month./.
