Dak Lak: Solar power contributes to increase industrial production value

Rooftop solar power projects in Dak Lak province come into commercial power generation with a total capacity of 237.2 MWp, contributing to increase the industrial production value of the province compared to the same period in 2019.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province, the industrial production value in November 2020 was estimated at 2,205.5 billion VND, an increase of 10% compared to the previous month, that of 11 months was estimated at 15,540.5 billion VND, up 5 , 4% over the same period last year, reaching 85.9% of the year plan.


Leaders of Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade assessed that, in November 2020, factories in the province operate stably, production output of most products increased compared to the previous month, such as cassava factories such ass beer, steel, coffee ... activities to increase capacity to prepare goods for the holidays, Tet at the end of 2020 and early 2021.
Representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak said that so far a large number of rooftop solar power projects going into commercial power generation with a total capacity of 237.2 MWp have contributed to increase the value of production. Industrial export compared to the same period in 2019, although sugar factories are still suspending production due to out of raw materials, it is expected that in early December, it is expected to resume operations.

Currently, Dak Lak has 155 investment projects and registered investment in 08 CNN with a total registered initial investment capital of 6,094 billion VND. In which there are 84 active projects (DA) with land lease area of ​​122.76 ha; 13 projects are under construction with land lease area of ​​20,726 ha; 08 projects are doing investment procedures with an area of ​​17.19 ha; 27 projects have been suspended with an area of ​​57,134 ha; 23 projects registered for investment with a land area of ​​36.73 hectares. The occupancy rate of industrial clusters is about 67%.

 

Dak Lak currently has 1 Tay Nguyen Wind Power Farm project - phase 1, with a capacity of 28.8MW, invested by HBRE Wind Energy Solution Joint Stock Company and completed 12/12 wind turbines to commercially operate power generation 05/12 wind turbines from September 2019 with a capacity of 12MW, is expected to generate 05/12 turbines by the end of November and on December 20 the remaining 2 turbines.

For projects applying for additional planning, on June 25, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Document No. 795 / TTg-CN on the addition of the list of wind power projects and power grids connected to the Regulation. revised power development plan VII. In which, there are 06 wind power projects in Dak Lak province added to the plan with a total capacity of 657 MW.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has also submitted to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade to consider supplementing the power development plan including 43 wind power projects with a total capacity of 9,451 MW of 27 proposed investors

 
Currently, the province has 05 solar power projects with a capacity of 190MWp which will be put into commercial operation before June 30, 2019. There are 02 solar power projects in progress. Currently, Dak Lak province has 3,696 rooftop solar power projects with a total installed capacity of 250.5 MWp; of which, Dak Lak Power Company has signed power purchase agreement with 3,619 customers with an installed capacity of 237.2 MWP, while 77 customers have not signed power purchase agreements due to incomplete procedures.
