ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs strengthen cooperation and further success
At the 5th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival on November 30, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said that the vision of young ASEAN entrepreneurs needs to go beyond the borders of the country, constantly cooperate and find for opportunities to reach out to the great sea, to reach regional and international customers.
This is the first time that the Carnival is held in an online platform with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of ASEAN countries with the participation of representatives from the ministries, central and local departments and nearly 300. Young businessmen from Vietnam and ASEAN countries. Attending and giving a welcome speech to the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Forum 2020, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh affirmed: This is a testament to the initiative to adapt and adapt to the "new normal" state of the world and the region, contributing to the dual role of ASEAN in ensuring community building momentum, responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and towards a sustainable recovery.
Speaking at the Carnival, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that the Covid-19 epidemic further shows that digitization or digital transformation is an irreversible trend, strongly appearing in all aspects; Digital economy has created new resources for development, changed the way of human communication, created equal development opportunities for all countries.
Deputy Prime Minister looked back, 2020 was really a challenging and difficult year because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters and the impacts of climate change as well as the growing trend of protection. The socio-economic achievements of the whole community that has been strived for more than 50 years are in danger of being erased.
"In that difficult context, ASEAN must strive to perform at the same time the" dual role "ensures the momentum of community building, both coping with the COVID-19 epidemic and moving towards sustainable recovery. Results achieved in ASEAN 2020 up to now show that ASEAN has successfully completed this dual role ”, said Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.
Recognizing this issue, Governments of ASEAN countries have raised the spirit of solidarity and made good use of opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution for an increasingly prosperous ASEAN community. In that spirit, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh shared his three big thoughts with young ASEAN entrepreneurs. Firstly, a community mindset needs to be instilled in every ASEAN young entrepreneur. It is important for you to understand your employer role in the ASEAN Community building process and define your personal and corporate duties in the process. From "community thinking and community action", the young ASEAN entrepreneurs need to associate the corporate interests with the community's.
Second, the vision of ASEAN young entrepreneurs needs to go beyond the borders of their own countries, for a world of peace, stability, friendship, cooperation, happiness and prosperity. Instead of being satisfied with the results of domestic production and business, you should constantly cooperate, look for opportunities to reach out to the sea, bring your products and services to customers in the country. regional as well as international.
Thirdly, the activities of ASEAN young entrepreneurs need to have more in common, there should be solutions to strengthen cohesion and make a further mark on the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Association in the region. I appreciate initiatives to promote digitalization in ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council activities; building an open ecosystem, the right supply chain to support each other's growth.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed :"Our government is committed to always accompany and create a favorable environment and support your activities to strengthen the linkages and connections among young ASEAN entrepreneurs"
